Build with AWS Kiro: Tech Stack Workshop

Build with AWS Kiro: Tech Stack Workshop

About Kiro: Kiro is an AI-powered coding environment (IDE) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) that helps developers build software using a specification-driven approach. It converts a user's initial prompt into clear requirements, design documents, and actionable tasks, which AI agents then execute. Main features include multimodal chat, automated task execution through "agent hooks," the ability to guide AI behavior (agent steering), and seamless integration with other AWS services.

About the speaker: Ricardo Sueiras is a Principal Advocate in Open Source at AWS with over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He creates code, workshops, and content shared through his blog, GitHub, and speaking events worldwide to raise awareness of AWS and customer open source projects, helping developers solve business problems using open source and cloud technologies.

About the workshop: This workshop introduces Kiro, explains where it's most useful, and demonstrates how it works through a live build. You'll learn the most cost-efficient way to access the tool and discover community resources to help you get started. The session includes Q&A, giving you the chance to ask questions during or at the end.

About the workshop series: Tech Stack Workshops is a biweekly initiative that familiarises founders of all stages with available tools and resources that can enable or accelerate their venture building. More information is available here.
