About our speakers:

Christian Berchem is the Head of EFG’s UK Region, the CEO of EFG Private Bank Limited, London, and a member of EFG International’s Global Business Committee. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the banking industry and before joining EFG, Christian served as CEO of Credit Suisse (UK) Limited, its UK Private Banking business. Prior to this, he has held senior roles with Barclays, including as Head of the Private Bank for London and worked for JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and KPMG. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Chicago.

Francesca Speroni is the Head of UK Private Banking, managing the client-facing teams to help them deliver private banking and investment services to UK and international clients and leveraging from the global capabilities and expertise of EFG. She joined EFG from Credit Suisse, where she was a Managing Director and served as Team Leader UK for more than five years, and has previously worked as Director of the Family Office team at Barclays and for Rothschild. Starting her career in 2002, Francesca has a wealth of experience over the following decade working for several private banks. In 2016 she moved to London to work with UK Family Offices and clients from the UK and Central Asian Markets.

Jigar Patel is an EMBA candidate at Judge Business School and an E-Lab Member and has twelve years of strategy and growth experience at technology, media and e-commerce companies based in the UK and USA. He holds a BA in Jurisprudence from University of Oxford (Pembroke College) and an LLM in International Commercial Law with a Specialisation in Competition Law from City Law School.
