Google Cloud Hands-on Workshop: Hack with Agents
This workshop will familiarise you with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which will be available during the LLMxLaw Hackathon. GCP provides a wide range of services for building products, including compute (Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine), data (BigQuery, AlloyDB, Cloud Storage), AI/ML (Vertex AI, Gemini APIs), web & mobile (Firebase), and more.
Led by Google Cloud experts, this is your opportunity to understand and build intelligent agents using Google Cloud. We'll explore the essential components that power agent applications, then jump into practical code examples using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK). You'll learn how to build and deploy your agent ideas seamlessly on Google Cloud.
To make the most of this hands-on experience, we recommend you come with a solid grasp of core generative AI concepts like Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings and prompting engineering. Familiarity with cloud computing and programming languages will also be beneficial.
We'll provide you with a pre-configured Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment for the workshop. Just bring your laptop and your preferred IDE, and you'll be ready to start building!
