Speaker Bio
will.i.am is the Founder & CEO of FYI.AI, a communication platform designed to serve the creative community - the ones who drive culture forward - which serves as a "creative co-pilot” through which to collaborate. He is also the Founder/Frontman of multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning group, Black Eyed Peas, and Founder & President of the i.am Angel Foundation, through which his mission is to give every child regardless of zip code equal access to quality public education, including #STEAM skills. As a STEAM education advocate, will.i.am is on a mission to equipour next generation of workers with critical mathematics, coding, engineering and scientific skills required in today’s tech-centered, AI driven-economy. The i.am Angel Foundation funds STEAM education programs in underserved communities including after-school university-bound tutoring classes and after-school robotics clubs in Los Angeles Unified middle and high schools. More than 14,000 students in the Los Angeles area benefit from STEAM and robotics education programs funded by a public-private partnership between the i.am Angel Foundation and the Los Angeles Unified School District.
will.i.am’s diverse experience and passions embody international leadership and success across the worlds of entertainment, technology, consumer products and philanthropy,and he has advised and collaborated with an impressive array of multinational companies including: ABInBev, Accenture, Air Asia, Apple, BEATS Electronics, Coca-Cola, Honeywell, IBM, Intel, JPMorgan Chase, LG, Mercedes-Benz, Qualcomm, and Salesforce to name just a few. In addition to his creative and business achievements, he is also committed to making the world a better place via his role as Goodwill Ambassador, AI Skills Coalition, United National International Telecommunications Union, and participation in World Economic Forum AI and technology working groups.
