PAST EVENT: Launch of the King's E-Lab collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation programme

Launch of the King's E-Lab collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation programme

We are delighted to be launching our collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation programme this evening. During this academic year, we look forward to equipping King's E-Lab students and the Mastercard Foundation programme scholars at Cambridge with entrepreneurial skills and supporting those wishing to explore a career path in innovation, entrepreneurship and business.

For the first time, in collaboration with the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation at Cambridge Judge Business School, we will also be running a Social Venture Residential in January 2024, designed to support students of all disciplines in developing sustainable and ethical projects with a positive social and environmental impact. In an inclusive, supportive and friendly atmosphere, students will have the opportunity to share and test their ideas with others and learn from the experience of successful social entrepreneurs.

WHEN: Monday 16 October 2023
6.30 pm – 7.15 pm: Launch event in the Audit Room
7.15 pm – 9.00 pm: Dinner in Hall
WHERE: King's College, Cambridge

About the E-Lab
Established in September 2021 thanks to a generous donation by Malcolm McKenzie (KC 1977), the King's College, Cambridge Entrepreneurship Lab is designed to support those wishing to explore a career path in innovation and business. Our year-long programme offers the students mentoring and practical advice, and culminates in the opportunity to win a prize to take their ideas forward. This cross-college initiative has been encouraged by our generous funders, including David Sainsbury (KC 1959) and the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, and aims to increase the impact we can make across collegiate Cambridge and for our students’ future.
