Penny is an experienced Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur, CEO and board director. She currently serves on three public company boards: Lumentum where she is Chairman, SGH and Faurecia SA and two private startup boards: Delphix and Modern Health. She was an entrepreneurial CEO of two technology companies, Simplex and FirstRain, over the last 20 years; she took her first company public in 2001 and she sold her second company in 2017. Earlier in her career Penny was a member of the leadership team at Synopsys, through rapid growth to an IPO and #1 market position in EDA. She holds a BA in Mathematics from King's and lives in Cupertino, California.
