Sheelpa has 20 years of professional experience in senior marketing and business transformation roles and is passionate about helping entrepreneurs to succeed. She has brought innovative, high-impact experiences, products and services to market for the world’s leading brands including American Express, MasterCard and the International Olympic Committee. Sheelpa spearheaded and launched the first ‘Women in Tech’ and ‘Smart Cities’ innovation labs globally, bringing together start-ups, corporates, academics and government to collaborate on transformational new business opportunities. Sheelpa is now the founder and Managing Director of her own advisory business Mavens & Mavericks (MM). MM bridges the gap between the corporate world and entrepreneurship ecosystem with clients including global professional services leader EY and a range of high potential start-ups.
