PAST EVENT: Workshop and Brunch with Jorik Schellekens (Nethermind)

Workshop and Brunch with Jorik Schellekens (Nethermind)

You are warmly invited to the last Michaelmas-term event in the series of Weekly Brunches aimed at providing students with guidance, connections, and support in bringing their ideas to life over the year. The Cambridge Blockchain Society and King's e-lab will offer publication, hackathon, incubation, or other implementation opportunities to the best projects.

The term will be closed by a Cambridge alumni, Jorik Schellekens (CTO) from Nethermind, blockchain research company. The session will mark the start of a 6-month long ZK-curriculum that will be continued in the Lent Term for students technically minded and skilled. The first lecture, however, is introductory and thus appropriate for all backgrounds. We will dive into the building blocks of web3: what do you as a builder need to know about regulation and community governance in order to build the most successful products? A short lay of the land of the blockchain scene will be given to understand how a team can get started in the space.

Jorik will joined by Swapnil Raj (Netermind Head of Innovation) for Q&A.
